Encompasses double functionality: captures and decodes the information contained in the barcode and captures the whole image of the envelope for archiving and indexing.
The decoded information from the barcode plus the envelope image is sent to the host computer as they are generated. Both files can be linked at the host computer to be easily accessed and used from any application software.
A companion demo application is provided to test easily the whole system. It stores ASCII data and indexed images at host computer.
